The Flower Girl WIP

One of two drawings that I'm doing for my grandma. She wants Audrey Hepburn

So far, I've just used mech. pencil on this. That, and a tissue. I'm a little shocked by how dark a simple HB mechanical can get so dark!

I guess I'm trying to make this look soft and lighter. I dunno. I think I may have to eventually take a 6B to it, because the hair is going to be hell. (Most of it is pure black)

Also, I'm doing a painting. I know, right? It's really, really, terribly bad since it's the first ever realistic painting I have tried. God, blending is impossible to a beginner with acrylics.
