Imitation Hepburn WIP9

Another WIP for this drawing? The woman that's going to be buying this is really interested in the drawing process, so she wants me to get as many WIP scans of this as possible. She wants her little daughter to draw when she's older I dunno if following my footsteps will be helpful, but we'll see.

So yes, I reverted back to black and white in this scan. I can't decide which I like better now. In real life, the antique tint looks AWESOME on it. But of course scans ruins some aspects, like the tint. So blegh, can't choose.

In here, I suppose I did some really subtle refinement. Just trying to emphasize the important parts a bit more. But I'll admit, what I did to the lips in this WIP wasn't subtle I tried to invert the colors of the reference and the scan (really great way to fix shading, by the way) and noticed that the lips in my drawing were not dark enough. Mine were kind of...undefined.

And I know the teeth are bad. I've always had problems with them, and apparently never gotten over them Hopefully I can make them look a bit better soon.

And yup, still going with the gloves, arm, body, hair, neck, and necklace...The shaded parts for the hair is going to (for themost part) stay the way it is. From the neck down, and the gloves, is subject to a lot of change. I'm aware that they are looking extremely sup-par at the moment, and am keeping that in mind

And I just realized the eyes are too big Three months into it. Methinks it's a bit too late to be fixing it, though But the person buying it likes it the way I've done it, so yay!

And try to ignore the stains. Unless if you're some coffee expert. If so, then you may go indulge your inquisitive nature into the questioning and hypothesizing of the particular brand of coffee that was consumed during the making of this picture
